The Nobel Sort Of Pirate (open)

Rose smiled "That is answer enough i guess" she looked down at the map as he did "Must be nice, having all this knowledge. I was told once by a friend, an air pirate, to give up the sea. That airships were the best way to see the world in it's glory. But i want to experience it. live it. not fly over it and see it from above. But life is fleeting. I won't see much in my life time"

Sebastian was thankful that she did not push. He pushed himself up and moved closer to the map so that he could get a better idea of where they were. When he heard her talk about the airships he shook his head. "They are a waist if you ask me. Not worth messing with."

A smile came to his lips as he looked towards her fully. "Why are you so determined to go to this island? Even when the risk to you and your crew is so great?"

Rose looked up at him "for the same reason I came here, to this ship, despite warnings of it being cursed and that it should no longer exist. Because I want to know. I want to see for myself. Am i endangering my men? Perhaps. But as I still yet needed to tell you, i do not intend to dock at the island. My ship will stay at sea and i myself will take a long boat. If some of my men wish to join me, they may. But i will force no one. You have now warned me of the danger and i have decided to trust the warning. If you hadn't come i probably would have decided to dock"

Sebastian sighed softly as he moved to sit down once more. "You are going to regret your choice." He muttered softly. He was already regretting returning to the place. "You will need a few to go with you incase of trouble. If none of your men go then I will bring along a few of mine when I go with you." He stated.

Rose laughed "come now, Sebastian. You know at least one of my men well enough that you know i wouldn't be going alone. Besides most of my men have my adventurous spirit. The late captain promoted curiosity in all his crew. He's the one who made me go from a spoiled little girl full of childish curiosity to the pig headed stubborn adventurer i am today" she looked at the map again then back at him "i take, from your warnings, that you did not have a pleasant experience on this island"

"Well then. Between Elliot me and Amador we will have quite a group." Sebastian stated with a smile. When she spoke about his experience on the island his mood dropped and a frown came to his lips. "Ten years of tourture. I worked under my father at the time. We traveled to the island. They killed him right infront of me. I was fifteen at the time." He muttered. "A few of the crew sold themselves to gain immortality." He stood and paced a bit, not sure why he was telling her all of this.

Rose frowned "I'm sorry" she said softly "my parents burned to death in front of me when i was 14" she understood a little, though she herself hadn't been hurt. Much."i didn't get injured. At least not enough to compare to torture" she pulled her coat down a little so he could see the burn scar on her shoulder

When Sebastian saw the burn on her shoulder he frowned. "I am sorry for you loss." He said calmly, moving to sit down once more. "At least mine allowed me to gain my ship and the ability to be free." He stated. "Sometimes hardships in your past lead you to be a better person in the future. And to strive not to be like those who hurt you."

"As horrible as it sounds" she said softly "Mine did much the same. The fire on the ship was caused by men panicking. The soldiers on the ship reacted when they saw the Bloody Baron approach and set their own ammo stores on fire. I was pulled from the flames by Captain Baron himself. And his crew pulled Elliot from the water. He raised us from then on. We both had more freedom with the crew of the Bloody Baron than we did before."

Sebastian nodded once after she finished. "You are lucky." He muttered glancing up when there was a nock on the door. "What is it Amador?"

"Trouble brewing in the waters sir. There is a ship headed this way. Looks like trouble." Amador told him.

Sebastian stood and looked towards Rose. "Might be best that you return to your ship now. We need to deal with this new guest and your crew will need you."

[Kiknessa]

"Just in time. With how touchy feely we were getting we probably would have been hugging soon" Rose laughed getting up. Without hesitation she moved out, grabbing a loose rope and swinging without really looking between the ships and landed easily beside Elliot on deck
"Keep Alert!" She yelled to the deck crew "Looks like we're in for some company"

Sebastian moved up on deck. "Time to have some fun. Get ready." He called to his crew. He focused on the oncomming ship, waiting to see what would happen. He was not going to attack unless provoked to

Rose's crew was prepared to fight as well if needed
As they waited Elliot came over to Rose "What did you and he discuss?" he asked, obviously annoyed that she had gone without telling him and taking him along
"Just what we can expect on the island and our tragic pasts" Rose said shrugging
Elliot looked at her a second, then nodded

It was at that point that the other ship turned and opened fire on the two ships. Sebastian shook his head slightly as they did their best to avoid the fire. "Return fire!" He ordered, his eyes sparking with anticipation.

Rose didn't even have to say anything. as soon as the other ship fired her men began returning fire
"Elliot get the mines ready, we might need them"
Elliot nodded and called two men to follow him down below
