"Don't worry Dy" Adara said, taking her brother;s hand and leading the way "I won't make you dress up too much. I more meant clean clothes. Though i get why any time mom wants you to dress up she gets me to tell you" she said, smiling at the fact that he had given up arguing already in his mind before she had even petitioned for anything.
She lead him up to a flat part of the castle roof. This had been their spot in this kingdom where they were hide out, and it was just for them. This space was now accupied by a glass structure,a greenhouse, sheltering a flourishing garden
"What do you think?" she said proudly. "I built it myself and did all the planting and stuff. I could have asked for help. i don't know how many flowers i killed trying to teach myself gardening. But this is our place, so i didn;t let Torrent come help me, despite the fact that it might be a bit nicer here if i had been given some help"

Dyten stopped when he saw the green house. He carefully walkd along, his fingers brushing over the leaves of several of the plants, a look of wonder in his eyes though it could not be seen on his face. "You did an amazing job." He complimented, taking in his surroundings.

Adara laughed "you'd be horrified if you saw all the plants i killed " she said, knowing his love of plants and gardening "but i tried to get it right" She said sitting down on a couch on the middle of the greenhouse. the she suddenly jumped up "Oh right!" she ran over to the side of the room and picked up something "I have a present ...or three....for you" She said with a small smile "For the last three birthdays I missed" she said. There was a book on rare plants, a simple black dress tunic and a simple round locket "I know you don't like the Royal dress outfits so i grabbed a simple plain one. Still nice but not too stiff. And i know lockets might be kind girly but" she reached over and opened it for him "I wanted you to always have your family near." on one side was a small group portrait of the family that was done before, On the other way simply a picture of Adara
Adara grinned "I know, i'm a little selfish putting a picture of just me in that side, but you can put someone else there if you want"

"It's perfect." He said, kissing her cheek. "Thank you." He se thte fits aside for the time being, simply glad to be back with his twin for the moment. He looked towards Adara. "So fill me in on what's been going on here." He took a seat on the couch, pulling her down next to him. "And i mean everything."

Adara shrugged "not much" she said "war only just ended. We've been working on recovering from this and stuff. I've been,left sticking to the politics because Davon doesn't want me out in 'the field' . Actually when I ran into you guys is the first I've been away from the castle in the last two months" she said with a small smile

Dyten nodded. "Because of some...mysterious fall that you still refuse to tell me about?" He shook his head.
Sandra opened her eyes and looked towards Jordan and Violet. She smiled softly, still continuing to keep alert for any signs of danger. There were still those that were not happy with the peace that was, for now, there.

Adara laughed "it's not a big deal. I got lightheaded and lost my barrings. That's why Davon keeos begging me to stay home. Ever since we found out I was expecting he's been overprotective and I was excluded from the end of the war. Totally boring" she complained
Alexia stood from where she sat and walked towards Sandra
"Hey. I'm Alexia."

Dyten was about to say something before freezing. "Wait....expecting?" Dyten's eyes went wide. "Oh dear. Another Adara running around." He teased, shaking his head.
Sandra looked towards Alexia and smiled. "M'lady Alexia." She bowed. "I am Sandra Corrington." She tilted her head a bit. "Jordan....Violet...both of you stay close. Remember what mother said."

"Oh shut up" she said, hitting him "I hope you're now willing to thank Valeran for catching me?" She said hugging his arm "please? If not for me, than for your coming niece or nephew?" She said giving him a pouty face
"Please, no formalities. My country is no more, and neither is my status. You are, though, part of the royal family" she said, bowing gracefully "it is my pleasure to meet you, m'lady corrington"
"Sandra sandra ! Alexia's a pheonix princess. Did you see her fire show? Wasn't it amazing!?" Violet said excitedly "and her brother valeran is cool too. He's strong a great warrior! and he's pheonix. Only part but he can use fire too!" Valeran opened his mouth to speak but she stopped him "Violet" she said "not princess" she turned to him and crossed her arms giving him a look .
Valeran hesitated, her expression faltering his demeanor. He had never faced down a child before.

Sandra could not help but laugh. "You must forgive my little sister. She is rather spoiled by our mother." She looked towards Violet. "Violet...It is rude to interupt someone when they are about to say something." she shook her head a bit. When she turned to Alexia she shook her head. "I am not realted to the family. Only through my mother's marriage. Violet and Jordan are my half siblings. I hold no claim to the title. And for me...it is simply Sandra." She smiled softly before looking towards her siblings. "Vi...Jordan...time to go in and wash up for supper. Mother will be home soon. Inside."
"Adara...that's like asking me to cut myself with a rusty knife. I'm not going to do it." Dyten said, shaking his head. "I am thankful that you are safe." He stood and kissed her forhead. "Now...if you will excuse me. I am going to go get cleaned up. As you should be doing."

"He was going to address me as princess. You don't like it when people call you princess so why should I?" Violet grumbled. She walked over to Valeran and placed something in his hand, speaking to him quietly before running inside
Adara frowned "I don't get you Dyten. What about him do you hate so much that you won't thank him for saving your twin from injury. " she sighed "You and him are so alike it's scary. Yet he thanked you when you helped save Alexia." she stood "but whatever. I need to find my husband." she said walking past him. She placed a hand on his arm as she passed "Wear your new shirt. Everything else has been sitting so long it needs to be aired out first" She said before jumping off the roof and taking flight

Sandra sighed and shook her head a bit. "What is it going to take to get that girl to understand." She looked towards Valeran and Alexia and bowed fully. "I do hope to see you at supper. I must run and make sure those two get cleaned up. If you will excuse me." She then turned and followed after Jordan who ran inside after Violet.
"Because he has given me no good reason to trust him." Dyten muttered after Adara had left. He sighed softly before heading to get cleaned up. He knew it was going to be a long night.

The Royal family was all gathered together in the throne room before dinner for the formal greet ceremony.
Adara sat on the large throne at the center of the room, Davon sitting on the smaller one next to them, everyone else was standing, though Violet had made her way into Dyten's arms.
Alexia entered first, followed by Valeran. Alexia had been given the chance to clean up as had Valeran, both wearing clothes that Adara had sent for her servants to bring them.
Alexia wore an elegant red dress while Valeran a simple red tunic. They entered the room, walking towards the throne. Alexia sent a small smile Dyten's way before they stopped and bowed before the royal family
"Greetings Princess Alexianra Travor and Valeran of the pheonix kingdom" Adara said standing "Welcome to our lands"
"Thank you, your highness, for your generous welcome. But my lands are no longer as if my status"
"Allow me to make one thing clear" Adara said, stepping down towards their guest "Your people have been great friends to the Falcons. Although you lands and people are gone, you status will not diminish. You will be treated as a Royal member of an Ally as long as you stay in our lands, Princess."
Alexia smiled "Thank you, your highness. You are too kind"
"On the other hand" Adara said, now looking at Valeran "I am afraid i can not say the same for you."
Valeran looked at her shocked, not knowing what she meant
"Valeran. You may have been made a servant to your country, but here among the Falcons, where your king's prejudices do not exist, we can not ignore that you are of Royal blood. You are allowed to remain here, with your sister, but i can not allow it to be in a position of servitude. You too will be treated as a royal guest. Nothing less"
Valeran of course felt like arguing, but he was raised to obey and respect royalty, so he could not bring himself too
"You too will be giving lodgings here inside the castle. If you wish for your own residence i just ask that you remain until arrangements are made and proper lodgings are found"
"Thank you, your highness"
"Adara" she said with a smile "we are equals. So please, let us cut the formalities between us, Alexia"
Alexia smiled back at her "Thank you, Adara"
Adara made a big motion in an attempt to look grand and queenly "Come, let us eat together as friends" she said, as the servants opened the door between the throne room and the dining hall, the places already set.

Dyten lifted Violet up onto his shoulder so that he could have at least one hand free. He was dressed in a jet black silk shirt and black slacks. His swords rested in it's sheath at his hip during this time. He smirked slightly when Alexia looked towards him, but it slipped away before anyone else could see.
Treva stood a bit behind Adara, her hair braided. She had her arms crossed and her head tilted slightly. She was here mainly to check up on her daughter and on the rest of the spy network before she returned home to Akrita.
Dyten glanced up at Violet. "Go sit with your brother for now." He set her down with a slight smirk, before he moved over towards his sister. "Why is it that all of the kids seem to flock to me when I am home?"

"Kids like tall broody dark scary men?" She teased "Violet has always like you. She's a mind reader, so there must be something to it" she grinned
Adara took her place at the end of the table and Davon next to her. She motioned dyten to the seat on her other side
"please, sit by me, we must talked, alexia" she said pointing to the seat directly beside dyten
