Xion looked to Cloud and walked up to him and patted him on the shoulder. "One thing you taught me is that it is okay to cry. It does show you strength... even though it doesn't feel like it." he said as he limped over to Tifa and laid his head down onto the bed. "No more... I will no longer be told things... I will live my life the way I see fit. Phantom is an enemy to me... they are trying to take everything precious away from me... and when I find Kazunari... I will kill him."

Tifa's hand suddenly rested on Xion's head and she opened her eyes and said softly, "It'll be okay I promise...." Cloud went over and kissed her forehead softly. Feeling a lot better now that he finally got the dead weight off his chest. He rubbed Xion's head and said, "I'm done with these people. As soon as you're well Tifa we're taking things into our own hands. I ain't taking Shinra's advice any further."

"Cloudy!" Said a happy voice and he felt someone jump onto his back and hug him from behind. He winced and smiled and pried Yuffie off him. "Poor Tifa. You're a mess." Said Yuffie. "Thanks... a girl really likes hearing that." Said Tifa and Yuffie just laughed. "How's your wounds?" Asked Cloud looking at Yuffie. "Busted my main arm I'm useless for a while." Said Yuffie with a pout.

Xion looked at Yuffie with his eyebrow curled up. "she's very blunt about things isn't she... cute... but blunt." he said as he looked at her. "I'm glad your both alive... that Kazunari has only one weakness... you have to fight him up close and no long range attacks... or he'll just reflect it back at you."

Moment later a big guy came in. "well if it isn't Cloud and Tifa... and the little theif Yuffie... been a while... Marlene has been worried about you guys." said Barret with a smile. "Guess what... got the gang back together... and thanks to Cid... and his new Searh 3 airship its a dream. You guys ready to go?" he said as he smiling to them.

Tifa sat up fast flinching and said, "Yes get me the hell out of this place now please." Yuffie blinked and said, "Whoa Tifa you actually swore." "Yes I'm very ticked right now." Said Tifa throwing the blanket off her. She handed Lukas to Xion and said, "Can you carry him please? Cloud is going to have to carry me." Cloud picked her up in his arms carefully so he wouldn't hurt her and wrapped the blanket around her. "Ready when you are Barret." He said with a smile.

xion held lukas as he smiled to him as he saw Lukas smile back at him. "hey there little bro." he said as he walked with them... more like Xion was limping because he still was sore everywhere. "Sorry little man if I'm going slow... I'm just as banged up as your dad." he said and Lukas seemed to giggle but Barret did help them out and lead them our to where everyone was waiting for them.

Got the gang back and everyone else waiting on you. Just get Tifa to the medical unit... along with the others... we'll do the planning up in the skies where it is safe." Cid said.

"Wait... what about Juvia?" he asked as he looked around and soon saw Turks showing up. "ah no." he said sulking.

Cloud handed Tifa off to Vincent and took his sword as Reno walked up. "We're done taking orders from you people. Now leave us alone." Said Cloud. "That's fine and dandy Cloud but the subject stays with us. We can't have something dangerous like that out in the open." Said Reno.

“Oh so now he’s a subject? That’s my son you’re talking about! You really haven’t changed at all! Still Shinra’s number one mutt! I've beaten you before and I can do so again!” Said Cloud as Reno drew his weapon. Yuffie gently took Lukas fearing Xion was more then likely going to get involved. As Reno ran in to attack a gun shot went off and he hit the ground as a bullet went into his leg.

Juvia a bit pale but alive came running up and tossed Xion his sword. Cloud was quick to swing his sword at the other Turks who went for Juvia. They were forced to back off. Cloud pushed Xion into the aircraft and kept his sword pointing out at them. Juvia fired a few more rounds making them move back again and they both ran onto the aircraft the door slamming shut. “Tell Cid to step on it and make it fast Vincent.” Said Cloud firmly. Juvia had latched herself onto Xion that moment and was just crying softly relieved he was still alive.

Xion held Juvia close and made sure his sword was now where it belonged as he smiled. "I'm so glad your okay and with me Juvia." he said holding her and stroking the back of her head.

Cid made sure they were in the air and away from the place... and high enough where even if Phantom wanted to attack they would need one hell of a good airship to do it.

Vincent and Red XIII helped Cloud and the others to the infermary as they were going to get treated. "seems like phantom has been doing a good enough job hunting you guys down... good thing we brought these." Vincent said as he showed the materia they had and used some of its power to heal Cloud, Xion and the others... to the point they only needed slight medical attention.

Cait Sith was patting down Yuffie and Juvia to insure they weren't tagged or anything from the Turks as he was feeling them he was getting a big surprise from both. "Just what in the world do you keep in there Yuffie? especially in your chest area you don't have much there... and you miss... just what's with all the extra baggage up front... you trying to win a contest with Tifa?" the little cat asked.

Xion just lowered his head knowing full well this cat was going to have flying lessons after that comment. "is it always this eventful?" he said rubbing his eyes.

“Why you!” Yelled Yuffie as she smacked Cait Sith so hard he went flying up against the wall. “Those are Kunai thank you very much! Men normally don’t think to frisk a woman there when she’s captured!” Said Yuffie pissed. “Isn’t that painful if you mind me asking.” Questioned Juvia. “Nah I keep them wrapped up so I don’t jab myself.” Said Yuffie with a grin.

“Oh that reminds me.” Said Juvia walking over. She stepped on Cait Sith hard with her right foot saying, “That’s for touching my chest you little pervert!” She then huffed and walked off going to take a seat by Tifa who looked like she was going to fall asleep right where she sat. She that was exhausted from everything.

Xion looked again. "correction... its always eventful." he said as he shook his head and looked. ~not to mention I'm the only one who gets to touch and see what Juvia's packing.~ he thougt as he went and picked up Cait Sith seeing his eyes spinning.

"He'll be okay... he's a robot after all." said Red XIII taking him into his mouth and walking away with him.

"when you guys are rested meet us in the council room... we can plan from there." said Barret as he walked off and saw Marlene as he pointed out that Xion and the others were back there.

Marlene rushed on in and the first person she tackled was Cloud making him stumble back. “Either you’re getting taller or I’m getting out of shape. I remember years ago you doing this and I stood firm like a brick wall Marlene.” Said Cloud with a smile. “I’m glad you’re okay Cloud.” Said Marlene. “Yeah so is Tifa now as well. But let her sleep. I think she’ll be missing the first meeting.” Said Cloud looking at Tifa who was finally out like a light. “Marlene smiled and went over and gave Xion a hug saying, “You’re alright too right Xion?”

I'm okay... I've had an eventful few days... but I've missed you Marlene. It was to quiet for me when I was with the Turks at the start of things." he said as he patted her head. "I'm just glad to see you again." he said as he got up.

“Marlene please stay and take care of Tifa and Lukas as needed. Xion let’s go the meeting. You too Juvia and Yuffie.” Said Cloud walking out. Yuffie and Juvia followed.

Meanwhile in an unknown area. Kazunari was still trying to nurse his wounds. He shoved the men who were trying to take care of him off and said, “Damn that experiment! I almost had him then those Shinra bastards showed up!” “Even so sir you took it too far. He almost killed you. There’s no point in trying to kill him if you die too.” Said one of the men who handed him his jacket. “Shut up I don’t ask for opinions! You people are supposed to work without questions. Regardless I will get him back. I just have to think of how.” Said Kazunari.

[Lao]

Sephiroth then came into his mind. "You will do no such thing... you will rest... for now." he said as he seemed to glare behind him in his mind. "That experiment nearly killed you and nearly killed our plans... even if he did die you don't have what you need from him. Or did you forget already... Kazunari?" he said a bit sternly.

"figure out ways to fight him... figure out ways to trap him... focus on the tasks you must think of first... then act... because if I see you in this condition again... I will act acordingly." he said threatening Kazunari.

Kazunari just sighed hearing all this. “Very well I think they’ll lay low regardless after the damage I dealt on them. You don’t need to worry I’ll come up with something.” Kazunari though.

Meanwhile with the others the meeting had started as they were discussing what their next plan of action was.

Xion was listening but he was also holding Juvia's hand with his fingers threaded with his. as he listened he looked around from time to time feeling someone else was listening in... but it was a kind spirit... as he just couldn't help but smile.
