Ryu laughed lightly at this "Well i guess we figured before we let all the nobility know and start the gossip and the rumors we figured we'd figure out exactly what we are so they can't ruin what we have. I don't want to make things hard on her" he smiled gently "I don't care if her friends approve, as long as she does. And Torrent approving makes it easier too" he glanced over at Adara then looked back at Dyten "What about you, Dyten? You're about at that age that you could start thinking about marriage and stuff. Anyone catching your eye lately?"
Torrent stopped at the base of the tower and looked at his step-daughter "Now....should we take the stairs, or should i fly us up?" he asked looking at her

"Fly?" Sandra tilted her head then looked at her mother. "Can I?"
"It's up to you, sweet heart. I'll follow you up on the stairs." She told her.
Sandra nodded before holding her arms up to Torrent, her way of saying she wanted to fly up.
Dyten shook his head no. "Most avoid me." He told Ryu. "And I spend most of my free time with Adara." He stated as he took his usual mixed offensive and defensive stance. "First move is yours." He told him, taking a deep breath and letting it out slowly.

"Most avoid you." he repeated "And who you spend time with can be changed....anyways, what about Adara?" Ryu said taking a stance as well "She's grown into a beautiful young woman" he said before making the first strike at him
Torrent picked her up, tossing her in the arm and catching her against before spreading his snow white wings and taking off. He flew past the landing a little about the tower "Oh dear, I missed it" he teased Sandra lightly before slowly descending to land beside her mother

"She sees me as a brother and nothing more." Dyten said as he blocked the attack and moved to counter with an attack of his own, his movements quick and precise.
Treva and Sandra were both laughing at Torrent's antics.
Sandra was clinging to torrent before looking around. "This where the squeaky things are?"

"I don't think that's what i asked" Ryu said, twisting to dodge a strike. Since he was just human rather than demon like Dyten he had to compensate for the difference in strength with tactic, moving carefully to avoid Dyten's strikes while moving to make his own strike
Torrent smiled happy to see the two laugh "Falcon's, sweetheart. They're falcon" he setting her down "Now we're going to go in, alright, but we need to be very gentle. We don't want to hurt them, ok?"

Dyten continued to spar with him after responding that it wasn't a choice he could make at that time in regards to Adara or any female.
Sandra nodded. "Falcons....like you?" She asked, tilting her head slightly as she followed him inside, looking around. She scrunched her nose slightly before looking up at Torrent.

"Well that's good to hear I guess" Ryu said as they sparred "because it looks like Addison is about to try and kiss her" when Dyten got distracted by this Ryu made move to take Dyten down knowing that Dyten was to protective to not react and look
Torrent laughed "kind of" he said to the girl "I'm a falcon demon; just like you are a panther demon. These are just normal falcons. They aren't demons like us."

Dyten did look and, as a result, was knocked down. He flipped up and turned to Ryu, his eyes flashing red briefly. He put on a burst of energy and shot towards Ryu, his focus on taking the man down now for the underhanded move he had just made.
Sandra nodded once as she understood what Torrent was saying. She reached up towards one of the creatures, not quite able to reach it on it's perch.

Ryu laughed and moved to dodge as best he could but eventually got taken down. "Alright alright I concede. You win " he smiled "I will take joy knowing that I did knock you off your feet though"
"Here. Put your arm like this" he said showing her how to hold her arm. Then he put his arm by the bird letting it step it into his arm and kneeled down letting it transfer to perch on her arm instead

Dyten stood up and held a hand down to help Ryu up as he shook his head. "Low moves like that may work part of the time, but next time I won't be as likely to believe." He told him as shadow's started to move over towards the soldiers that were sticking around a little to long for Dyten's liking. One of the shadow's grabbed at a soldier's leg, thought Dyten's focus was on Ryu at the moment.
Sandra did as Torrent told her, holding her arm out properly. When the bird stepped on her arm she smiled happily, a bright smile lighting up her face.

Adara stepped past the man and walked over to Dyten and Ryu smiling "you heard that, huh?" She asked looking at them
"Heard what? " Ryu asked
"Addison making a move on me" she said looking at the two "isn't that why Dyten is waving his shadows around?" She looked between the men
Hearing this Ryu smirked at Dyten "told you. I just used the truth to my advantage is all"
Torrent smiled seeing the joy in her face. Some thought it strange for him to be caring for someone else's child but look on her face made him feel more joy than he had ever felt before

Dyten was currently holding Addison up by his ankle, his eye a bit red. Whether it was protectiveness or jealousy, however, dyten wasn't sure. He would always play it off as being protective of those who simply wanted to take advantage of Adara being a princess. Dyten dropped him unceremoniously onto the ground a moment later, the shadow's disappearing quickly as he looked towards Ryu with a shake of his head.
Felicia was laughing a bit with her friends before looking over towards Ryu and the other three. When she saw that they were done she told her friends goodbye before moving over to the others. "Ryu....I need to go into town for a bit. Mind being my guard for the day?" She asked him. With Felicia's health being a bit worse then her mothers, Matthew insisted that she have a guard with her so incase she came down ill while on her trips to town, she had someone who could get her home or to the town healers if need be.
Sandrea carefully pet the birds back before looking over at her mother with a smile then back towards the bird. She carefully moved her arm up letting the falcon fly off back to it's original perch before looking towards Torrent. "Thank you." She said with a smile.

"You used his protectiveness to take him down, huh? " Adara smiled shaking her head "dangerous game Ryu. Playing with fire. But a sound tactic" she smirked. She looked at Dyten "and you relax. I shot him down. I think I can handle the likes if him"
Ryu looked at Felicia and smiled "it would be my pleasure princess" he said looking at her "would you prefer I change and clean up first or shall we go right now? "
Torrent smiled watching her "you are so welcome, sweetness" he said looking at her wrapping his arm around Treva

"I can let you get cleaned up." Felicia told him with a slight smile.
Dyten shook his head slightly before looking towards her. "I am going to go get cleaned up. I gained a couple of new cuts with that fight." Dyten stated. Ryu had caught an injury he previously had obtained a few days ago and reopened it with the fight they had just had. Dyten wasn't bothered by it, knowing that it would close up again soon.
Treva leaned against Torrent as she watched her daughter smile while looking up at the Falcons.

Ryu smiled and nodded "I'll be right back" he promised, jogging over to the barracks to change and wash up
"Actually i just heard a rumor, if you don't mind checking it out with me" Adara smiled "Could be dangerous, so there's little point in changing. Well unless you want to look nice for the girls in the village. I could wait if you want me too" she said cheerfully
