"I'll take that as a no." Dyten muttered. When he heard what Adara said, his mood darkened slightly and he looked away from the three. He knew he would not be anywhere near ready to travel by the time she had to leave.

Adara handed the note to Torrent "Send a reply, tell them i'll be back once Dyten is healthy enough to travel" Torrent took it and nodded, not bothering to argue "Are you sure that;s wise Adara" Alera asked softly "Dyten won't be able to travel for at least a week, maybe more." "I don't care, Dyten and I travel together, that's how it's always been"

"It won't be that long. Four day's at most." Dyten said, glancing towards Adara already knowing she would argue about it. He didn't say anything more on the subject at the moment.

"Four days?" Adara said raising her eyebrow at him "If you try to get up and start travelling in four days i'll personally chain you to your bedpost and take away all your weapons" Adara said leaning against the wall

Dyten looked towards her. "I would like to see you try." He stated with a slight smirk. "Besides....you know that within four days if I don't get out of this room something is liable to end up broken and I will probably not be in my right mind." He stated, knowing his demon nature would end up getting to him if he was stuck in the same room for more then another day at most.

"Leaving the room is different from travelling" Adara said simply "I'm not going to let you hurt yourself trying to move faster then you can. If that's how you're going to make it.....then I'll go alone, tonight" she said softly, though the idea of travelling without him bothered her Torrent looked between the two not knowing what he should say right now

Dyten looked away in irritation at her final words. "Not like I could stop you if you did." He muttered, propping one leg up. He rested his arm across his knee, stairing towards the window away from Adara. He was getting frustrated again but refused to say anything else.

"Now you two"Alera chided gently "don't fight. YOu both know that both of you would be equally as miserable if Adara went alone, but Dy Adara's right about not pushing yourself. We all almost lost you a couple days ago." "Mother even made herself sick worrying about you" Torrent said quietly "My point is, Adara you may have to go without him, and Dy, you do need to stay in bed. YOu're both going to hate it, you're both going to be miserable about it, so you might as well be on good terms so you don't have one more thing to be miserable about"

Dyten stayed silent but knew Alera was right. He simply refused to say it aloud. He was to irritated at the moment about being stuck in his room and he was acting a bit bratty about it. But hey...he had a reason to. Dyten was never one to sit still for long and it was really starting to get on his nerves.

Alera kissed Dyten on the forehead then moved to leave the room, torrent following her. Adara also said nothing, not moving from where she was standing but also knowing her mother to be right.

After about ten minutes of silence, Dyten finally sighed softly and spoke. "If they need you, you should go. They never like to wait long and if they are sending word to you it is best you take care of it quickly." Dyten muttered, but did not look towards her.

Adara let out a sighed and moved to sit on the bed, her back to him "I know" she said simply, looking down at her hands. Things had never felt so awkward between her and Dyten before. The realizing of eachother as more then just friends so quickly followed by this situation made for a situation Adara didn't know how to handle

Dyten turned and looked towards her. He silently moved up behind her and wrapped his arms around her gently. "I will stay put." He promised, and one thing Dyten did not do was break a promise. "Take Night hawk with you. He will carry our letters so that way we can keep in touch." Dyten said right as a solid black hawk landed outside the window and tapped at the glass wanting in.

Adara nodded silently and turned towards him hiding her face in his shoulder. He would be able to feel her hot tears soaking though his shirt but after a sob shook her body she made no sound. She had held back when he got hurt, shedding a few tears but holding in a lot so she could focus on saving him, but this situation caused those emotions to rise up

Dyten wrapped his arms around her a bit more and simply held her close and let her cry. He nuzzled his face against her hair, knowing that no words were needed at the moment. The only thing he did was manipulate the shadows to open the window so that Night Hawk could enter. The hawk flew over and landed on the bed before moving over and gently nuzzling his head against Adara's side wanting her to pet him.
