Dyten wrapped his arm around Adara. "I know. But I doubt she will stay to far away, especially if she knows that I am home. Those two have been sticking near me since I returned home from the war." He said, glancing towards her. "I do agree it is odd to see how those two are, however." He shrugged. "Though we cannot always expect siblings to get along as well. We were fortunate, they started their life during a rough time." He responded, referring to the war that had kept him from his family for nearly three years.

"perhaps" adara smiled slightly, sitting in one of the couches in the sitting room
Xanatos ran in and towards Dyten bus a red streak raced past him latching to Dyten's leg
"I win" Castalia says, sticking her tongue out at her brother

"Told you." Dyten said with a smirk as he braced himself when Castalia latched onto his leg. Dyten reached down and picked her up before moving to scoop Xanatos up, setting them both up on his shoulders. "You two been behaving for your mother?" He asked them.

Castalia squealed in delight at being up so high whole xanatos seemed slightly nervous, holding onto Dyten's hear for support while Castalia without holding on started to bounce a bit in her excitement

Dyten kept ahold of them both easily, despite Castalia bouncing around. "It is okay, Xanatos." He told him before looking towards Adara with a slight smile on his lips. "Where to?" He said, letting her choose where they went to, figuring a bit of time together was in order.

Xanatos still kept a hold on Dyten still unsure
Adara laughed a little at her children then looked at Dyten "are you too tired to take a short trip? Maybe to the fields. Get a chance to spend time without distractions?" In truth she had never gone it much with the two because although she could catch Castalia if she ran off the idea of having to do that and leaving xanatos behind and vulnerable to do so kept her from going

Dyten glanced up at his youngest two then at Adara and nodded once. "Sounds good." He stated. Dyten glanced up at Xanatos for a moment with a slight smirk then over at Castalia. "Why do I get the feeling you are going to be a trouble maker when we go out?"

Castalia blinked and looked down at her father "I good" she said indignantly, scrunching her nose the way Adara used to when she got annoyed
Adara laughed lightly at this "Let's go then" she said cheerfully

"I wasn't quite as bratty" Adara said with a smirk ~Perhaps because i couldn't use my speed at that age~ she added telepathically
Xanatos looked between them "I a brat?" he asked trying to follow their conversation

Dyten shook his head slightly. 'You would have been worse had that been the case most likely.' He agreed. Dyten then looked up at Xanatos. "No. You are a mix of me and your momma." He responded.

"You have your daddy's calm" Adara smiled at Xanatos "You are very much like your daddy" she looked at Dyten. The calm, quiet, reserved nature of their son being very much like Dyten was
"I like daddy too!" Castalia firmly, jealous that Xanatos was being compared to Dyten when she wasn;t
"True."Adara nodded "You're stubborn and hardheaded like your dad" she smirked glancing at Dyten

Adara laughed "You know it's true" she said simply
"She's right dad" Kenna said, looking over at them having overheard a little "You've always been stubborn and set in your ways. That's why we used to clash so much. I'm hardheaded just like you" she smirked

Dyten glanced over towards Kenna. "So now I have two of you ganging up on me. I am outnumbered." He said with a soft laugh. "And yes...before the war I would say that. The war changed a lot of people though. Some for the better." He stated softly. Dyten was a bit more light hearted since being home, honestly thankful to be home and be able to spend time with his family. He knew all to well the hardships that some were now facing because of the war and the loss they felt because of it. His own family being affected by it. He never wanted the last thing his family to see of him was a hardened man, knowing that was what some remembered their loved ones as.
