"Yes but even with all the wedding we'll at least be together" Violet said with a cheerful smile
Azura nodded "It's odd being an outsider in a strange land. Not that Lumia is strange, but with Jade being human. He's quite used to being a human surrounded by demons but this is a new land, and different demons that have not really had someone like him around, right? A human in a commanding position"
Adara stepped into the room and nodded, sitting down "Hopefully it gets easier. it's different for everyone i know.But in the end it's well worth it" she smiled "You and Kenna definitely made it worth while for me. So much so that i did it again" she laughed

Aylee smiled slightly as she looked down at her little brother before flinching slightly as her little one kicked. "That is something I will not miss is getting kicked in the ribs." She said with a soft laugh. "I can't imagine how you dealt with two sets of feet getting you in the ribs." She missed Clark, wishing he were there with her at the moment, though also knew part of it was pregnancy hormones messing with her, and not being able to really work due to her size and being so close to giving birth.
Ariel nodded. "It is good for the nobility though. If things don't get shaken up some it can get stagnant. Plus, new faces bring changes that can be beneficial." He stated.
Aiden glanced towards Ariel with a raised brow. "Not all changes are beneficial." He stated.
"True. But without the errors you don't get to the benefits always either. Besides...I know of several changes recently that have been good, even with the struggles that came as well." He said with a smile.
"My niece." Aiden said, figuring that is what Ariel was talking about.
"And Azura's affect on you." Ariel stated.
Aiden raised a brow not understanding what he meant, not seeing that he acted any differently with Azura then he did on a normal basis, though he did smile and relax a bit more, as well as traveled a bit more since being with Azura. There was also the fact that no other girl had ever gained his attention for longer then the time it took to dance at a ball, despite the fact that countless girls had practically thrown themselves at him trying to win his favor. However, Azura had managed to gain his attention and keep it, as well as his heart without even really having to try, simply by being herself, which to him was more important than anything. He loved Azura for who she was and could honestly say that she was one of the best things that had ever happened to him, even though he was not really one for speaking such, especially around others, aside from his twin.

Adara laughed "Helps that your father has hit me in the ribs harder" she joked lightly "Besides, I don't miss being pregnant. it's just something you need to go through to get the real gift" she smiled. She Tilted her head a little looking at her daughter "That's something that never really goes away" she smiled "Missing your spouse. Every time your father leaves I feel so lonely. Having you guys helps, but i still always miss him"
Violet laughed "You have changed, a lot, since you met Azura"
Azura smiled slightly "Even I;ve noticed" she said softly "But I've changed too" she laughed

Aylee looked towards her mother and smiled softly with a nod. "You and Dad grew up really close though as well so I am sure it is worse for the both of you when he is gone. I know he depends on you a lot for support." She stated, knowing that her father still had issues with his past at times, and the fact that though he was raised by nobility and was now a king himself, he still felt at times that he was not meant to be in that position because of the position of his birth parents. She, on occasion, found him at the graveyard where his parents and cousins grave was when things were going rough. She had never seen her father cry though, even when things hit their roughest. His eyes just took on a haunted look, but he remained the same stoic silent man he always was.
Aiden glanced between his twin and Azura before smiling slightly. "If you say so. I guess you would be able to tell better then I would." He stated, knowing that sometimes people didn't always see the changes in themselves like others did.

Adara smiled "Once these little ones are older" she smiled, looking at Xanatos "I think your father and i should consider doing what my parents did. Stepping down, hand the throne over to Jakie and Kenna . Except my parent have still stayed put. I'd like to consider resuming the lifestyle we had from before getting the throne here. Travel and explore again" she laughed "My point mainly is, you never stop missing your spouse."
"Jade and Nayjo will do just fine with the changes, and the nobles will get over it" Violet smiled, going back to the root of the conversation "I think Jade and Sandra are doing great. Some of those old geezer still in power need to learn to accept change and get over their silly prejudices" she said with a smirk

Ariel nodded once in agreement with his wife, wrapping an arm around her gently.
Aylee looked towards her mother and smiled. "I am sure that would make papa happy." She responded before looking up when she heard a knock on the door. "It's open."
Dyten opened the door at that time, it already being pretty late in the day and they had just arrived back. "Clark headed to finish some paperwork but will be up in a moment." He told them. "Ended up not having to go as far as we thought to deal with the trouble." He told them.

Xanatos jumped up and ran over to hug his father's legs happily
Adara turned and looked at her husband smiling "all went well?"she asked, knowing if it hadn't he likely would have already said

Dyten reached down and ruffled Xanatos' hair before looking towards Adara. "Decent size group of thugs. The issue was they had trained dogs that were helping so it was a struggle for the towns folk to put any set face to who was causing the problems. Found out pretty quickly courtesy of Clark stepping in dog mess." He said with a soft laugh.
Aylee laughed softly at hearing that. "I bet he was just thrilled about that."
Dyten smirked slightly. "I believe there were a few choice words muttered. But we got it taken care of quickly." He stated.

"Clark grew up on a farm. I'm sure he's stepped in much worse" Adara laughed "Probably would have been a bigger reaction had it been Jakie" she smirked
"Too bad they were my new shoes though" Clark said, leaning in the doorway "Finally put out the money to get a new pair, didn;t mean to break them in so soon" he said, looking down at his feet, now wearing his old more worn out shoes again since he didn;t want to get things all over the castle
"Daddy get the bad guys!" Xanatos told Clark happily
"I know" Clark smirked "I was there. I helped him" he said, though he could clearly see that all Xanatos was focused on was his father's part "He's a little enthralled by you" Clark commented, looking at Dyten. The older girls had always been affectionate with Dyten as well but after not knowing their father for the first three years of their lives the two youngest always seemed to want Dyten's attention

Dyten scooped Xanatos up and smirked softly. "You been keeping your big sister and her baby safe for me?" He asked his youngest boy before looking towards Adara. "Shall we give these two some time?" He suggested.
Aylee smiled softly when she looked towards Clark before laying a hand on her stomach gently then back towards her father and her little brother. "He has been a big help." She said with a soft laugh. "He was keeping me company while Clark was gone."

Xanatos shook his head, knowing full well that he couldn't protect Aylee if he wanted to "Aylee protect me"he said with a small smile "I sit" he added
Clark moved over to Aylee as adara got to her feet and walked over to Dyten "we'll leave you then"adara smiled
Clark looked at Aylee and smiled, putting his hand on her stomach "active today?" He asked

Dyten moved out after Adara still holding onto Xanatos as he followed his wife. "Where is your sister?" Dyten asked Xanatos.

Xanatos shrugged, not knowing where Castalia went after leaving Aylee's room "I don't know" he said looking at his father "I find?" he asked, wondering if his father wanted him to go find her.
Clark smiled "Soon, beauty" he said, kissing the top of her head "Very soon our baby will be here, out in our arms and not kicking your anymore" he said softly

"Ok" Xanatos said, running off to find his sister
Adara watched him leave then smiled slightly "You know, if she decides she doesn;t want him to find her she'll just run around so he can't" she said walking along with Dyten "It's so odd, seeing them not get along as My siblings did, or you and I, Kenna and Aylee. I know people consider it normal but my experience has always been with siblings getting along much better."
