Dyten shook his head slightly. He looked towards Alexia and smiled slightly. Further inside was a bit of furniture. Enough for two to four people to live confortably for a while, as long as they didn't mind sharing a bed or if a couple slept on the large furs covering the floor. Dyten had been working in the cave for a whole after they had found it. He glanced towards Adara. "What do you think?" he asked her.

Adara looked around "It's now a less hidden version of the cave i wanted to go to. Works well." she said with a smile
Alexia looked at the furnature"Do you guys actually sleep here?" she asked
Adara smiled "There;s a cave down in that formation in the middle of the lake. The interior is exactly the same with the crystals. It's where my parents spent their honeymoon actually"

"And in answer to your other question, Yes. I have stayed here before. Especially during the time a specific nobleman was staying at the castle." He said with a shrug. "It's relaxing here. Though the cave Adara is referring to is more comfortable then this one." He stated as he moved over and stood slightly behind Alexia.
Vane watched the two before looking towards Adara with a smile. "Sounds like the perfect place from the way your brother describes it." He glanced around then back at Adara.

Adara smiled then took the picnic basket from Vane and began to set out the food. She paused a moment and laughed "you're ridiculous Dy" she said shaking her head and setting aside a small box and finished it off

"How so?" Dyten said as he turned and looked towards Adara. "If you are referring to the strawberries, I told you before. Blame mother for my addiction." He stated with a shrug before moving over to help her finish.
Vane looked towards Dyten a bit surprised. He did not figure him to be the type to like sweets. HE shook his head slightly as he glanced out the entrance for a moment.

"Not only strawberries" Adara said hearing Vane's surprise "Chocolate covered strawberries" she glanced at Dyten "And they are for after the meal. If you try to get them before we're done the normal food i will toss them into the lake" she teased

"And I will bust your butt if you do." Dyten stated with a shake of his head. "Besides...cook gave me a couple while she was making them.' He laughed softly. "I know to behave myself when you are around. For the most part." He stated with a slight shrug.

Adara grinned "I know. Don't you wish it worked both ways?" she teased, referring to how she didn't always behave when he was around, especially since she knew if she got herself into trouble Dyten would help her out of it
Alexia smile listening to them "You two are very very close"

Dyten glanced towards Adara then at Alexia when she spoke. He sat down as he looked at Adara again letting her choose to answer if she wanted to. He could never remember a time that they weren't close in honesty.

"When Dyten was small most people thought he was mute. He never spoke to anyone and he never went near anyone or tried to communicate." Adara explained "The thing is, he did speak, and he did communicate. He would say a couple words to my mother here and there, and he would talk to me. At the age of two, Dyten didn;t trust anyone nearly as much as he trusted me. And that's pretty much stayed consistent through the years" she smiled "Having a constant companion you can always rely on is a comforting thing. Sadly it makes opening up totally to other a little difficult. Dyten shows very little emotion, and I keep people at arms length by being friendly and bold and not letting anyone near my vulnerable side"

Dyten shrugged one shoulder as he glanced towards Adara. "I was also very protective of Adara because of it." He stated, looking towards Alexia. "My family is imporant to me and I don't put up with anyone hurting them."
Vane nodded slightly. "From some of the stories I have heard, I can understand why you are protective of your family."

"I'm protective of Dy as well, and my family, but my protectiveness towards Dy isn't really noticeable in comparison with how Dy acts with me" she laughed "Over the years we made each other into the perfect companion for our two personalities. Ours strength and weaknesses balance out"
Alexia smiled "you're best friends" she said simply
Adara smiled back "Actually i'd say that Dy and I are two halves of the same person"

Dyten stayed silent as Adara spoke. Simply showing that he preferred to remain silent and let Adara do most of the talking.
Vane listened in silence before looking towards Adara.

"In short, Yes, Dy and i are very close" Adara laughed "Come on, let's eat then shall we?" she said motioning to the food that was set out

Vane finally sat down near Adara and let the rest start to get what they wished before taking a bit for himself. You could call it old habit that made him that way, which was not a lie.
