"People tend to do stupid things when they like someone as more then just a friend." She stated, her ears turning a bit red as she focused on watching the men so she didn't start stammering.
"Lead the way." Vane said bowing his head slightly in greeting to Alera. He followed after Adara, smiling.

Adara took Vane's hand and lead him out of the castle, heading down the street to the village
Jade blinked at her in surprise "As more than....oh" he blushed "well thanks. But i still don't think you'll do anything stupid. You're an amazing woman"

Vane glanced at Adara as he walked out with her, not surprised anymore by her taking his hand. He was growing more comfortable around her family, and was happy to have her back so he could continue to get to know her better.
Sandra rubbed her arms gently but said nothing at the moment. Her ears were still solid red in embarassment.

Adara smiled and pointed out some things to him as they walked
Jade rubbed the back if his head embarrassed "What...what is it you like about me?" he asked, unable to help himself

Sandra glanced towards Jade out of the corner of her eyes. "You don't judge me for who my father is or for my abilities like most have. You believe in me, even when I doubt myself." She listed off a few other things she liked about him, including that she thought he was cute. When she mentioned that one though, her face was red as she looked down.
Vane asked a few questions about certain places she pointed out. He also noticed the way the people of the town greeted Adara when they saw her.

Jade listened quietly, blushing at her praise but smiled "Sandra, would you like to go on a date with me?"
Adara greeting everyone by name, asking about their families and waving. Suddenly her name was yelled out and a dozen kids who were playing in the orphanage yard waved eagerly.Adara smiled and went over greeting them all and gett group hugged by the orphans

Vane stayed back a bit and watched Adara with the kids. He had a smile on his lips as he watched, his admiration for her only growing.
Sandra looked at JAde her eyes widening slightly. After a moment she finally nodded once in response before finding the ability to say, "Yes."

Jade smiled "good" he said softly
Adara looked over at Vane and motioned him over, introducing him to all the kids
One of the kids tugged on Vane's shirt
"Do you know how to play kickball?" He asked
The mention of the game instantly got the kids excited

Vane moved over and knelt down so he was eye level with the kids. When one asked if he knew how to play kickball he nodded once. "I do." He said, a smile on his face.
Sandra looked towards him, smiling a bit more, though her cheeks were still red.

"I get Adara on my team!" one of the kids yelled
"I think Adara and Vane should be captains, let them choose" another chimed, and everyone yelled in agreement
Adara laughed and looked at Vane "Shall we play then?"

Vane nodded once. "Ladies first." He teased softly as he looked down at the kids with a smile.
Dyten, by that time, had finished up with training for the day. He was currently sitting in the center of his garden, deep in meditation.

Adara and Vane picked their teams and the game began. They played until the kids collapsed in exhaustion and Adara helped the matron put the kids to bed before joining Vane again
Adara smiled at him "you're pretty good with kids"

Vane lifted a couple of the kids up and helped Adara and the matron get them inside. When Adara said he was good with kids he smiled at her. "Thank you." He told her. "Kind of makes me wish for my own. I have always wanted a family but....considering where I lived at for so long, I felt it was better that I didn't."

Adara nodded "Yeah makes sense. I used to make a point of visiting the orphanage once or twice a week to play with the kids" she said with a smile "and i look forward to getting to know Talon better, and Jordan and Treva;s new baby"

Vane slipped his hand around hers as he walked with her. "I confess I am jealous of your family." HE glanced towards her. "Everyone cares about each other and acctually gives a dang about what is going on."
